About Ordinals

ORDI (Ordinals) is a cryptocurrency built on Bitcoin's blockchain, designed to enable unique digital assets and inscriptions directly on the Bitcoin network. Unlike traditional tokens, Ordinals leverage Bitcoin's security and decentralization to create scarce, non-fungible assets. Its core technology allows users to inscribe data—like images or text—onto individual satoshis (the smallest unit of Bitcoin), turning them into collectibles or digital artifacts. ORDI serves as the native token for this ecosystem, facilitating transactions and interactions within the Ordinals protocol. Key use cases include digital art, collectibles, and on-chain identity verification. The project has gained attention for bringing NFT-like functionality to Bitcoin, appealing to both crypto enthusiasts and collectors. Its simplicity and alignment with Bitcoin's principles make it a unique player in the crypto space.

The latest work from @prrfbeauty introduced earlier: Satoshi Relics To be honest, it's really moving to see such a work in this circle now. People will have the opportunity to personally select each piece from Bitcoin's trading history of over 1.2 billion transactions since 2016, with trades designed to be "cultural relics" waiting to be buried and discovered. Each transaction can generate a uniquely corresponding generative artwork, allowing you to select and record classic moments that belong to you or to history from the long river of these 16 years. This work includes two series: 1⃣ Mythics Curated Carefully selected by the PoB team, the most representative transactions in Bitcoin's history are made into exquisite artworks. Amount: 576 Price: Auction 2⃣ Standard Selected by the community, these are the absolutely most representative transactions, which can be your proudest trade or a moment you find meaningful, personally chosen and named, adding your own touch of color. The most representative transactions of Bitcoin are made into exquisite artworks. Amount: 1000 Price: TBA The following content is lengthy, and you probably don't have the patience to read it all, but this is also why I say it's still hard to see such works now. 💡Basic Concept Satoshi Relics is a 576*576 pixel generative art, rendered in real-time based on the user's device. The maximum size of the inscription preview displayed by the ordinals[dot]com ord explorer is 576 x 576 pixels, which is why this maximum display size was chosen. 💡Art Style Visual inspiration comes from "civilization relics," presenting a historical weight like stone carvings, using pixel style to echo early digital art and gaming memories. ▫️The border displays the transaction ID. ▫️The central "coin" square represents the amount of BTC transferred, with size calculated based on the proportion of the transfer to the total Bitcoin supply at that time. ▫️The background fades to display the original transaction's hexadecimal data. 💡Special Mechanism ▫️On the anniversary of the transaction date, the artwork will "age," with changes in color, shadow, and texture. ▫️Aging can last up to 100 years, after which the appearance is fixed. ▫️Aging is used to present historical traces; the older the year, the deeper the visual impact. 💡Color The color palette comes from the color characteristics of the block to which the transaction belongs. ▫️Relics within the same block share color schemes, but the presentation varies due to different transaction data. ▫️All colors contain 5% Bitcoin Orange as a unifying tone. 💡Rarity Mechanism The rarity mechanism includes: special BTC amounts, special transaction conditions, messages within transactions, input/output quantities, leading zero counts in transaction IDs, etc. 💡Coin The core of each relic is a square "Coin," which encapsulates the key transaction details. The size of the coin is proportional to the amount of BTC transferred during the transaction relative to the total Bitcoin supply. coin size = (BTC transferred / total BTC supply) / 0.01% The central coin may contain "symbols" representing transaction characteristics, appearing when specific transaction conditions are met, totaling 29 types; specific symbols or combinations may be very rare. Some symbols are extremely rare, and certain combinations of symbols are even harder to find. 💡Transaction Text Presentation The background will display transaction data (hex). If it is coinbase or OP_RETURN or other translatable content, it will attempt to present it in human-readable text and also try to parse runes or other protocol data messages left behind. 💡Input/Output Symbols The work will feature a grid symbolizing transaction inputs and outputs. ▫️Input symbols are symmetrical patterns, while Output symbols are directional badges. ▫️The more inputs/outputs, the denser the symbols, representing a "heavier" transaction. 💡Mark Mechanism (users can leave their marks) If the transaction contains specific formatted data "0x72656c6963 + 32 bytes," a 16x16 pixel mark will be generated, with the position and intensity of the mark adjusted based on the data placement, allowing users to "deliberately" leave personal traces in Bitcoin history, like the following X. 💡God Rays The more leading zeros in the transaction ID, the stronger the halo effect, paying tribute to the concept of Bitcoin PoW's hash difficulty. 💡Sustainability and Technical Features All content is on-chain, not relying on external access, ensuring permanent preservation. The algorithm is lightweight, requiring a single-core CPU and about 50MB of memory to generate, ensuring it can be presented on any device. This is a project I encountered when I first entered the circle, and four years later, it can still create such profound works, which is truly gratifying.

We’re launching 10,000 Satoshi Relics Our first project on Bitcoin. Our latest generative art collection. Ten thousand one-of-one digital artifacts, each created from a single Bitcoin transaction. Curated by you. This is the Standard Collection by Pob Studio. Here is the thesis: We built a protocol that turns raw Bitcoin records into generative art. You pick a transaction. The engine renders a Relic from the txid and its data. You add a title and a short description so the story is clear years from now. Provenance reads like a block explorer: time, txid, inputs, outputs. Fully onchain. Verifiable forever. This is visual archaeology It is not a picture about Bitcoin. It is Bitcoin, rendered. This isn’t just pretty pixels. It’s energy crystallized as art. Every Relic begins with real work. A single transaction today is on the order of a household’s power use for a month That spent energy is the ancestry of your artwork. Proof of Work as our seed generator. Consider the scarcity: One Relic from one transaction. One of 10,000 total. One choice out of roughly 1.26 billion and counting. Once a txid is claimed and minted as a Relic, that precise point in time is preserved. You cannot reissue a moment in Bitcoin’s history. It cannot be counterfeited and each record is unique. Truth by design. Why invite the community to choose the transactions? Because Bitcoin’s history is bigger than any single curator. There are firsts and breakthroughs. Overlooked tributes and oddities. Recoveries and losses. Personal moments that mattered to you. The Standard Collection lets collectors surface these stories and anchor them to artifacts anyone can verify. The worst case? You mint a fully onchain digital artifact with fixed scarcity and perfect lineage to a real transaction. You become the steward of a specific coordinate on the most secure ledger on earth. The best case? This becomes the community index of Bitcoin’s cultural record. The market recognizes that owning a Relic is owning a piece of Bitcoin’s history. Security, scarcity, energy, and story converge in a way that cannot be reproduced. What minting looks like: Pick a transaction you believe should be remembered. Paste the txid in our dapp. Watch the Relic render from the chain’s own data. Name it clearly. Add a concise description. Mint. Share. You just added a chapter to Bitcoin’s living museum. Our dapp is live now and you can already use it to discover Relics from any txid. Who this is for? Collectors who value provenance. Historians and explorers who love the hunt. Builders and miners who know what it takes to secure a block. Anyone who wants to mark their place in time on the world’s most historic blockchain. What it is not: It is not a meme. It is not a screenshot. It is not offchain. It is a tradeable, ownable artifact made from the record itself. A 1 of 1 claim on a moment of history. Ten thousand curators. Ten thousand chapters. Ten thousand signals in a sea of noise. Some will pick the obvious milestones. Some will surface the overlooked. All will leave a trail that helps the next generation understand what happened here and why it mattered. That’s deep value. That’s a celebration of place and time on Bitcoin. Mint a Relic. Preserve a transaction. Own history. That’s the Relic Standard. ---- Price information coming soon. Join the Whitelist now for a discounted mint price. Our dApp is live today. Explore now. However, recently the heat of the x402 protocol has begun to shift from discussions in Western communities to the East. The first token issued by the x402 protocol, $PING, quickly recorded returns of several times its value. According to GMGN market data, PING currently has a market cap of over 30 million USD, with a 24-hour trading volume of 22 million USD. Let's take a look at whether this could be the next big opportunity for "inscriptions."

When ORDI first appeared The technocrats are unbearable Using words such as "carved on" shows wisdom and calmness But what is the use? Some people understand the value of narrative and consensus And earned tens of millions of dollars as a result It is worth thinking about What is true wisdom?
